Drone racing is actually a competition of a human pilot’s skill to beat other pilots within a controlled environment by racing across a specially designed course, frequently through obstacles and over tight barriers to reach the end of the race line. The competition is not based solely on skill but also on experience. There is a large purse awarded to the winning pilot and there are now even pros with a flying qualification involved.
In the future, we are likely to see many more drone racing competitions. Will it still be held by pilots piloting personal airplanes or will they switch to a more permanent basis? Is it already widely accepted that the future of aviation may well see several manned aerial vehicles in our skies? That could mean an increase in safety for the general public who will be safer to fly in, and more likely to have greater expectations from their flying experiences.
Exciting New Sport
Will you be one of the pilots participating in the future drone racing competitions? If you have already been bitten by the bug, then congratulations, you’re already on your way! I believe that there is great potential for this exciting new sport amongst the general public. This is because of the huge amount of money and effort that has been put into research and development of the current generation of drones. The future of personal flying is here!
These drone racers are racing not only for the title but also for prize money. This means that this event attracts a very wide audience. Because of this, there is always a level of competitiveness between the drone racers. This competition is also an excellent way for amateur drone pilots to learn how to safely operate and control these complex and powerful machines. Amateur drone racers can learn from the mistakes of others and push themselves towards greater achievement.
Will we ever have a drone racing competition in 2021? Well, maybe not. However, there are already some high-tech events taking place in the real world. In addition, the military is investing millions of dollars in research to develop more advanced autonomous weapons for combat. Will we see these weapons in use in the future or is that a far off dream?
As for whether there will be a future drone racing competition in 2021, I have a hard time imagining that anyone would want to watch a human pilot fail at their best attempt at remote flight. Drone racing is the future. You should be watching right now. Find out all you can about the upcoming competitions and who is coming out on top!
I have personally been involved in remote aerial vehicle competitions for the last two years running my own business.
